Bar TwentyFive endured one of our biggest hen invasions on a single day at the weekend. The willy straws were out in force and the shot games were mass brawls of competiveness. Our lovely staff had everyone twisting and shaking throughout the day.
There was not a stripper in sight. We did put the offer out, but for some strange reason, no takers. Next time....next time....
A few of us gentlemen hit the bar scene in Prague last week. A perfect excuse for childish antics, but most of all, a chance to sample the local delights, Pilsner Urquell and Staropramen. From the moment we breathed in the Liberal air of one of the most beautiful and gothic looking cities, we were greeted with the ever famous green symbol for Pilsner Urquell.
For those of you that are not familiar, it was the world’s first ever Pilsner type blond lager. It is available in mo...st countries around the world, but it is usually put into kegs and dispensed under carbon dioxide pressure.
One big treat you will find in the Czech Republic (and rarely in other countries) is an unpasteurised, unfiltered and naturally conditioned in-cask version. Which we must say, goes down easier and seems to be a lot nicer to you the next day.
Sink a few of these in between virtually 24 hour access to good restaurants, a cheeky watch of the local sports team, American football in the streets and a few shots of Becherovka and you are well on your way to a great, if not legendary, night out.
